Kindergarten has been hard at work learning the number 10 with bowling pins, practicing how to write their numbers, and playing hopscotch with letter sounds! In science, they have been learning about the senses, this time taste!

The favorite part of the day for most kids? Recess! First grade has been working hard, so what better way to take a break and enjoy a nice, sunny day than to go outside and hang upside down on the monkey bars!

It was a tough night for the Lady Eagles. They fell to CCA and CCS. They move on to SubState Saturday at Centre. Come out to cheer them on!

The Jr. Lady Eagles wrapped up their season today at the WSL tournament, hosted by Rural-Vista. They started the morning strong and earned a spot in the championship game. The championship did not go their way, and they finished the day with a second place plaque! The young ladies had a fantastic season, and we are so proud of them!!!

They covered topics such as cooking (cakes/desserts, caramel puffs, cheese dip, smoothies, rice krispie treats, paninis, etc), sports, card tricks, paper folding, and cookie decorating. It was a fun (and delicious) way to wrap up the first nine weeks while showcasing their skills!

Today the volleyball team had fun celebrating our senior Julia Allen. She reached 1000 digs last night, we thought she should have a shovel for all her hard work. So exciting to have another senior reach such a high milestone!

Today these students attended the Health Awareness Day at Salina Regional Medical Center. It was an educational day learning specifics about many different healthcare fields to possibly pursue. They were very appreciative and grateful for the experience.
