The Eagles couldn’t miss tonight as the HS Boys defeated Peabody 87-25 to advance to the Championship Game of the Cougar Classic!

The 6th graders held their Biography Museum this week and did a great job sharing what they learned with parents, teachers, and other ECS classes!

On Friday, January 14, several ECS students from 5th-8th grades participated in the ACSI District Spelling Bee at Central Christian Academy in Wichita. They competed with grade-level peers in the morning, and then the top four spellers in each grade advanced to the afternoon. Congratulations to Jenny Beck for placing 4th in the 6th grade bee, and congratulations to all spellers for your great work!
The HS Girls BB game vs. Centre scheduled for tonight has been canceled. The Lady Eagles will advance to the semi-final round on Friday (game time and opponent TBD). The HS Boys game at Marion is still scheduled to start @ 4:30 p.m.

Please note the changes in game times and locations for the opening round of the Cougar Classic. The boys game has been moved from Centre to Marion. The girls game has been moved from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Go Eagles!
The HS Girls will play Sedgwick on Monday at 5:30 p.m. at ECS (varsity game only). This is a rescheduled game from Dec. 14. The HS Boys will play Sedgwick on January 25.
The JH teams are back on the road on Monday at Central Christian School in Hutchinson. Games begin at 4:00 p.m.

Throwback Thursday - Junior High!
Spelling bee participants from 3rd-8th grades will be competing in the ACSI District Spelling Bee today. Grade level bees will be held this morning, and the top spellers from 5th-8th grades will advance to the final round this afternoon. Best wishes to our spellers!
ECS will host Centre on Friday for Homecoming! Games begin at 4:30pm. The Homecoming Ceremony will take place after the basketball games.
