The kindergarten class has been hard at work learning their letters and numbers. Playdough and sidewalk chalk were a great, fun way to work on constructing letters. They also took advantage of a nice day and went outside to practice counting watermelon seeds which led to a cool art project and a tasty treat!

The third grade class used their artistic skills and creativity to decorate their classroom mailbox. Each student added their handprint to make it unique and personalized, and now they can receive their mail all year in style! Great job, third graders!

The high school volleyball team will take on Centre and the Wichita Defenders this afternoon. The action kicks off at 4:00 with the JV teams playing first. Come out and cheer on our girls! Let's go, Eagles!

This week the High School Volleyball team hosted camps for 3rd-5th grade and 6th-8th grade students. Each camp started with a student-led devotional, because we will have fun by always putting God first!
In the afternoon, the high school team had a camp lead by Central Christian College Head Volleyball Coach, Rick Hughes. He brought experience, knowledge, and fun to help prepare our players for the upcoming season!
We would like to thank our young Eagles for coming to camp and making it such a blast! Parents, none of this is possible without you, and we appreciate you being a part of the girls’ growth as volleyball players. A HUGE shoutout to the high school girls and Coach Hughes for the time and work you put into this week! We can’t thank you all enough!

Summer is just beginning, but the projects are already going strong at ECS! A few classrooms are being moved, two rooms are being renovated, and a “God-incidence” (not a coincidence!) led to an immense blessing of many donated items for the school! One of our teachers was visiting family in Houston at just the right time when a company was clearing out a large office space. After hundreds of texts and calls to coordinate details, and another trip to Houston, we were unloading an auditorium full of items!
We are SO thankful for our contacts in Houston and the hours of time and personal funds they donated to make this possible. Their generosity has been indescribable and greatly above and beyond what anyone would ever expect! Their excitement to bless the school, staff, and students that they had never met was incredible. One of our contacts said, “If even one comes to Christ through Christian Education - it’s worth all the work and expense.”
The benefit to ECS: all new staff chairs, computer lab chairs, choir room chairs, new Learning Center furniture, new library furniture, new conference room furniture, whiteboards,a refrigerator, many office supplies, kitchen items, televisions, projectors, and much more!
To God Be the Glory!
