JH Girls are the Wheat State League Champions!! Way to soar Ladies!! The final was 20 - 10.


JH boys will play for 3rd, after a hard fought game against Canton-Galva. They came up short with the score of 23 - 44.


JH Girls won over Rural Vista 27 - 15 and clinched the championship game!


Rachael Friesen performed at the Regional Piano Festival at Bethany College and received a 1 - Outstanding Rating.
She will be going on to the State Piano Festival at Wichita State University on February 17th.


The high school basketball teams are on the road again, this time to Herington. Action begins at 4:00 pm with a C Boys team half game. Go Eagles!


First grade did an awesome job presenting the elementary chapel this week! They talked about life choices and the consequences, both good and bad, that come with those choices. Nice job, first grade!


While learning about France, the freshmen experienced a French Cafe today during Geography class. They had coffee and ordered from a French menu. What better way to study geography than with food!


The junior high basketball teams will compete in their last games of the season on Saturday at the Wheat State League tournament in Solomon. Girls will play their first game at 1:00, boys will play their first game at 2:15. Let's go, Eagles!


Fifth grade heard the story "The Lonely Typewriter" and got to try out a manual typewriter in computer class. It was a little bit different than what they are used to!


This afternoon the junior high basketball teams will travel to Solomon to compete in the Wheat State League Tournament. Girls will play at 4:00 with boys following at 5:15. Go Eagles!


January was a crazy month of weather, snow days, morning delays, and plenty of rescheduling. That didn't stop the 3rd graders from getting some fresh air and enjoying a quick recess in the snow!


Please note that there has been a change to the original schedule for the games on Tuesday. There will be no JV boys game, and the JV girls game has been moved back to 5:10. Varsity girls play at 6:00 and the varsity boys follow at 7:30. Go Eagles!


Homecoming was successful for everyone. Both Varsity teams came out on top versus Centre. The girls put up a 36-15 score, and the boys finished strong with a 70-12 final.
The Homecoming Ceremony, following the games, announced Dom Lundberg and Julia Allen as King and Queen.

The ECS gym will be see lots of basketball this afternoon! Both the junior high and high school will play versus Centre beginning at 1:00 p.m. It is also Homecoming and the ceremony will take place at the conclusion of the games, approximately 7:45 pm. Let's go, Eagles!
