First home game delivered the energy. The gym was loud, the support was strong, and the atmosphere set the tone all night. Girls 1/2 JV fell 11–16 Varsity battled hard, winning 53–35 Boys 1/2 JV dropped a close one, 12–17 Varsity pushed it to OT, just missed it 49–51 Proud of the fight, thankful for the crowd, and excited for what’s ahead. The home court showed up 🏀

WE’RE BACK ON OUR HOME COURT. For the first time since the Sept. 3 storm, Elyria is hosting at HOME and it’s time to show up loud. Elyria grandparents, families, and alumni get in FREE. Theme: BLACKOUT Fill the gym. Wear black. Bring the energy. This isn’t just a game. It’s a return.

Gold dust in the air at Elyria this afternoon.

Both our 7th and 8th grade teams walked in focused and walked out as Quiz Bowl Champions.

Two teams. Two first place finishes. One proud school.

They competed with heart, backed each other up, and left it all out there.

JH Boys battled from tip to buzzer and came up just short, 30–34. A great game full of grit, hustle, and heart. This team never quit, played together, and showed exactly what JH basketball is about. Heads high! Future bright. Proud of these boys.

SPELLING BEE SWEEP! What a day. What. A. Day. Huge congrats to ALL our spellers who stepped up and battled word by word today. 👏 Highlights that deserve the confetti cannons: • We had a student advance in ALL 4 grades • Our 7th AND 8th grader finished in the Top 5 • And the mic drop… the 7th grader WON IT ALL with the words xenophobic and palindrome 🏆 Brains, bravery, and big-stage confidence on full display. So proud of these students for representing with focus and grit. Spellbound and loving it. Everyone celebrated with a yummy Chick-Fil-A meal ☺️

JH Bball took the first round of the Wheat State League Tournament this evening with a 48-15 over Solomon. Way to advance Eagles! They will play on Saturday in Hope.

The Scholars' Bowl team is headed to STATE! These students have worked hard 😁 Give them a high five next time you see them.

Spiritual Emphasis Week Update!

This week, we’re focusing on servanthood and Jesus. We’ve been blessed by worship led by our HS Worship Team during elementary openings, messages from Mr. Mosher and Mr. Hinman, and tomorrow we’ll hear from community leaders.

Students are also putting faith into action by collecting donations for the McPherson Housing Coalition and cans for the Food Bank.

Grateful for how God is working in our school this week.

Students' minds will be competing as we head into the Regional Scholars’ Bowl. Knowledge, teamwork, and quick thinking will be on full display!

At the same time, the JH Boys’ Basketball League Tournament tips off TODAY — time to bring the energy, hustle, and heart to the court. Play hard. Play together. Play for His glory.
