The JH Boys and Girls are both moving on in the Wheat State League tournament! The boys defeated Solomon 27-18 in OT, and the girls beat Herington 34-7. Congratulations, Eagles!





REGIONAL CHAMPIONS!! Congratulations to the Scholars Bowl team who traveled to Natoma today and won the Scholars Bowl Regional Championship! They are heading to State on February 12!



The JH Wheat State League Basketball Tournament will begin today @ Hope. The ECS games start at 5:15 p.m.


ECS will be closed on Thursday, February 3 due to inclement weather. Check back for updates on the JH League Basketball tournament and Regional Scholar's Bowl! Neither event has been canceled at this time.

The 7th-grade Life Science class has been studying genetics and patterns of inheritance. Last week, they created "Spudoodle" creatures using a bag of alleles and "Spudoodle" parts. These are a few examples of their funny results. Great science work!





Kansas had a birthday over the weekend, and classes celebrated with Kansas Day activities on Friday and Monday!

IT’S WINTER WORKSHOP TIME! The high school students get to set aside the books for two days and experience a variety of life skills, hobbies, crafts, and special interest areas! Today’s workshops included: Vehicle Maintenance, Relationships, Grillin’ and Chillin’, Perfectly You, Handling Finances in a God Honoring Way, CrossFit, Soap Making, Escape Room, Emergency Services, BoHo Style Wall Art, Party Foods With A Twist, “Nailed It” Cake Decorating, Disc Golf, Sign Making, “The Real World Is Coming”, and more!

The tradition continues! The ECS Worship Team and Pastor Brandon Roth, Spiritual Life Coordinator/Bible Teacher, led chapel today at Central Christian School in Hutchinson. In the upcoming weeks, CCS will travel north to do the same at ECS!
