The Board of Public Utilities came to do an electricity safety presentation for the 3rd graders last week. The students learned so much from them. A big thank you to BPU for coming out!

On Thursday afternoon, ECS hosted a luncheon for local pastors. This was an opportunity to share the vision of ECS and talk through partnerships. Some of our high school discipleship group leaders attended as well. It was a great time of fellowship.

The elementary students had a wonderful time visiting Pine Village and the Moundridge Manor last week. They sang songs and handed out cards they had made to bless the residents who live there.

Today was Junior High Retreat held at Camp David in Hesston. The class competitions were fierce and it was a great day all around! A special thanks to guest speaker Philip Hinman for his excellent input.


Yesterday the second grade class celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday and today their math class was spent baking apple pies. What a fun way to learn!


In preparation for their upcoming visit to Pine Village and the Moundridge Manor, our elementary students spent some time making cards to hand out to the residents.
