Senior Mission Trip Update (Thursday): Today was our last workday. 😢 One of Pastor’s goals when we got here was to get lines painted in the parking lot, and today we got that completed!! Then we spent our evening traveling to the south side of the Island to see the bioluminescent bay- incredible!! Hard to photograph, but it was as if the water was sparkling! Beautiful!!

Senior Mission Trip Day 5 (Wed) - It is good to serve God!!
In the morning we continued church projects. Then at lunch it began to rain, so we spent some downtime in the sanctuary playing games together. Once the rain let up, we traveled to the housing complexes we visited yesterday to hand out groceries and offer prayer to families Pastor knew needed them. We finished our day with the congregation for a prayer service. The Lord is moving in Moca! What a powerful evening it was, rejoicing and praying to the Lord. We have been so blessed by Pastor Fernando and the congregation. God is so good!!

Senior Mission Trip Day 4 (Tues) - This morning we visited with the elderly alongside Pastor Fernando. We sang to them, talked with them, played games, and shared the gospel, sandwiches, and coffee! We spent the afternoon working to complete projects around the church. For our evening, we took a little break and headed to the beach. Another great day!!

Senior Misson Trip Day 3 - We spent our morning helping Pastor Fernando straighten up the church - power washing the parking lot and stairs, clearing shrubs, washing windows and addressing anything that needed attention. Then our leaders treated us to some of the star fruit we picked yesterday during our prayer walk. After lunch we packed bags with school supplies and headed to a housing complex to spend time with the youth in Moca. We shared God’s Word, invited them to church, shared songs, and then played games early into the evening! What a blessing the people of Moca have been to our group!

LATE POST...Mission Trip Day 2: We had a very full day of worship and prayer! Church was very different than what we are used to, and the students loved it. They led us in worship for several songs, and their gift of music so blessed the congregation! We then walked through the community and prayed for people. Overall, it has been another amazing day, and the church is feeding us so much yummy food!

Senior Mission Trip Day 1 Update: What a day it’s been, but that could be because we started at 3:30 am. Flights were great, and we arrived early both times! Quick stop at the beach in San Juan, beautiful! Then the 2.5-hour trip to Moca. Our leader, Daphne, is great, and we've had a wonderful time at the church with a few members of the church and the Pastor. They greeted us with songs and prepared a Puerto Rican treasure for us for supper. Thank you so much for entrusting us with your kiddos. Please continue to pray for the Lord to work in and through us this week!
