I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and have been at Elyria since 2017 teaching 5th grade. I also teach 6th grade science and am an assistant high school basketball coach. My schooling experience took place in a K-12 private Christian school, an experience that really shaped my life. When I felt God’s call to education, I wanted to make a similar impact on elementary students. I love working with the students at ECS, as well as my co-workers. The elementary students have such tender hearts for the things of the Lord, and I see Him working in their lives. My approach to teaching starts with the first and greatest commandment: to love God with all my heart and to love others as myself.
When I am not at school, I enjoy playing sports, reading books, and family movie night. My family and I attend McPherson Free Methodist Church.
