My husband and I moved from Colby, Kansas, in 2006 after he accepted the administrator position at ECS. This gave me the opportunity to begin teaching at the school. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Math Education.
I love to teach math. ECS is the place where I can best fulfill what God made me to do. God’s faithfulness is evident in His provision for this ministry at Elyria. He has brought the personnel to provide the opportunity for students to be challenged to live for Christ and to grow in their faith. I see graduates who go out from ECS make an impact in full-time ministry or their workplace. God has created each student uniquely for a purpose that He has for each one’s life. It is my job to help them learn to think and to be well-rounded - even if math is not their “thing” - so they are equipped to fulfill God’s purpose for them.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, sewing, playing the piano, crafting, baking, traveling, and camping. Legacy Bible Church in Hutchinson is our church home.
