My roles at ECS include computer teacher, AD secretary, and yearbook advisor, and I have previously been a class sponsor. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education.

My time at ECS began in 2006 when Susie Leicht recruited me to come work at the school as the athletic department secretary. One of the things I’ve loved most about working here was being able to see my children in their daily activities while contributing to the school. Being at ECS has always been about being part of the “family.” Even after my children graduated, the colleagues I’ve worked with are family and dear friends. It’s about caring for the students and wanting them to meet Jesus in a real way.

God has brought together a special group of faculty and staff. He has planned for each student who attends, whether they come to know the Lord as their Savior here, or have seeds planted that come to fruition later. In and out of the classroom, I want students to know that I love and care for them because Jesus does that for me.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading and walking, and my family and I attend First Baptist Church in McPherson.
