I began at Elyria in 2020 and have been a paraeducator, custodian, and PE/health teacher, as well as a coach for cross country, JH/HS track, JH/HS boys basketball, and JH soccer. My father was a teacher at Berean Academy, so I grew up with a Christian education with many teachers who poured into me. They chose to remain in Christian education to help students achieve their goals. This example deeply influenced my decision to pursue a career in Christian education after college. My degree is in Sports Administration.
I love being around the students and seeing them learn and grow in all areas of life. The Lord is giving us many opportunities to reach students who might struggle spiritually or those who have questions regarding their personal, Biblical worldview. God has brought me here for a purpose, and I trust that His plan is perfect even though I never planned to teach or coach. I will teach/coach the kids with all that I have and hope to be a good role model spiritually for the students.
Outside of school, my hobbies are pickleball, golf, and reading. My family and I are members of First Christian Church in Sedgwick.
