I officially joined the Elyria Christian School (ECS) staff in October 2024, but my connection to the school goes back much further. As a proud ECS alumnus from the Class of 2019, I’ve been actively involved with the school since 2020, volunteering in roles such as coaching summer league basketball and assisting with facilities maintenance. These experiences deepened my love for ECS and its mission, making my return to work here a natural step after completing my degree. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Worship Arts with an Emphasis in Worship Ministry from Grand Canyon University. Every time I came home during the summer, I found myself back at ECS, volunteering and building relationships with students and staff. I love working here because I get to invest in kids—not just academically, but relationally and spiritually, helping them grow in their walk with Christ.
My role as Director of Development is more than a job—it’s a ministry. I’m passionate about seeing the school, its staff, and its students flourish. God has blessed me with a mindset to always look for ways to improve situations, and I’m thankful I can use that gift at ECS. Whether it’s developing programs for homeschool students, building partnerships in the community, or creating opportunities for growth, I approach my work with a servant-hearted mindset. Colossians 3:23 reminds me to work “as unto the Lord,” and this motivates me to strive for excellence in all I do.
I’ve seen God’s hand at work in ECS in countless ways, especially through the kindness and support shared among faculty, staff, and students. During my time as a student, I formed friendships that will last a lifetime. Now, as a colleague to some of my former teachers, I feel incredibly blessed to work alongside them to further God’s Kingdom through ECS’s mission.
Outside of my work at ECS, I enjoy photography, digital design, and music—whether playing, creating, or listening. I’m also actively involved at Bethel Church in Inman, Kansas, where I continue to serve and grow in my faith.
